The kingdom principle for Self Transformation

The kingdom Principle for Self Transformation

Our focus today is on the issue of self transformation. Change is constant but positive change is always difficult because it is like climbing up a lather.

Have you ever tried to change something about yourself but found it really hard?

Maybe you want to stop getting angry so quickly, start waking up earlier, or be kinder to others. You try and try, but after a few days, you go back to the old way. It can feel impossible!

But guess what?

Changing for the better—what we call Self Transformation—is easier when you follow the right steps. Let’s discover how God has already given us the secret to becoming the best version of ourselves!

What the Bible Says About Self Transformation

Did you know that God actually tells us how to change? The Bible says:

“Do not copy the way the world does things. Instead, let God change you inside by changing the way you think.” – Romans 12:2 (paraphrased)

This means that real change doesn’t start with actions—it starts with your thoughts! If you change how you think, the rest will follow.

The principle violated is found in the above scripture. The NIV translation of Romans 12:2 says;

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

One of the keywords in the above principle is the word “LET“. It implies that you are the hindrance to your own transformation.

The principle also reveals the principal worker of transformation. It says “LET GOD TRANSFORM YOU INTO A NEW PERSON”.

It didn’t say a doctor, psychiatrist, consultant, your dad or mom, the emphasis is God. He is the one that created you, He knows how to fix you. The good news is He already prepared you transformative medications which is mentioned below, even as you are reading this article.

Why Is Self Transformation So Hard?

A lot of people struggle to change because they try to do it all by themselves. They think if they just try harder, things will be different. But that’s not how it works!

The real reason change feels hard is because our minds are used to old habits. It’s like trying to ride a bike the wrong way for years, then suddenly learning the right way—it takes practice! But when we do it God’s way, it becomes much easier.

How to Make Self Transformation Easier

  1. Ask God for Help

    • You don’t have to do this alone! Pray and ask God to help you change. He loves to help His children grow.

  2. Change Your Thinking First

    • If you think, “I’ll never be better,” then you won’t change. But if you think, “God is helping me grow,” then you will!

  3. Speak Positive Words

    • Say things like: “I am changing every day!” or “God is making me stronger.” Your words have power!

  4. Be Around the Right People

    • Hang out with friends who make good choices. They will help you stay on the right path.

  5. Take Small Steps Every Day

    • You don’t have to change all at once. Just take one small step at a time, and soon you’ll see big results!

The Good Things That Happen When You Transform

When you practice Self Transformation, amazing things happen:

  • You feel happier and more peaceful.
  • Bad habits become easier to break.
  • People notice your growth and respect you more.
  • You get closer to God and hear His voice better.

Becoming the best version of yourself isn’t about trying harder—it’s about letting God help you change. Self Transformation starts with a new way of thinking, and when you follow these steps, change becomes easy!
